Tuan Guru Ustaz Haji Yasin Bin Hassan passed away on 08 June, 2012 (Friday 18 Rejab, 1433) at the age of 81 (Born: 22 June,1931). The funeral prayer led by his son as the Imam, Ustaz Haji Bashir Bin Yasin held at the Masjid Pengkalan Kakap, Merbok, Kedah. Drawing about 2,000 Moslems attending his funeral prayer at 6:00pm followed by the second prayer due to large crowd and the burial site located at the Masjid Pengkalan Kakap Graveyard - AL FATIHAH.
